D Day

Father's Day around here was pretty relaxing. Considering we had just driven 17 1/2 hours the day before, none of us were really up for much. So we decided we would drive into Boulder, have lunch on Pearl Street and just walk around. There were a few street performers, and a lot of guys making balloon animals.....of course the boys had to have balloon swords! Poor Landon, his popped about 5 minutes after he got it.......he is so rough and tumble, I don't think he knows how to be gentle w/anything. Chase was brave enough to go up and pet "Bruiser" the shaggy dog, but Landon was having none of it. Dwight got a nap in.....well deserved since he had about 3 hours sleep in the last 48 hours.....a successful Father's Day!

Here are some, well alot, of pictures from our trip out to CA....we had a great time! We visited family, went to Disneyland, went to the beach, swam (almost everyday in Bakersfield), went bowling, played on the slip n' slide, and of course we can't leave out our best friend Buddy...the boys had a "dog party" w/him every night at nana's house....we miss you Buddy! It was a looonnngg drive home, but we made it and boy oh boy, it feels sooo good be be home!!
YaY! We're going to CA!!!

The boys had so much fun together!

New Doo

So......lately Landon has been complaining about is hair in his eyes during swim class, and when he gets out of the bath. He always tells me "mama, you cut my wet hair". Anyway, I decided it was time for a new look. Here he is, the new Landon, my little faux hawk boy....don't worry for all you skeptics it can be worn flat as well. He loves his new spikey doo, and won't let anyone touch his "spikeys". It just goes with his crazy no fear attitude.

Late Nap

Both boys fell asleep at 4:00 this afternoon, so of course we had a late "wild" night. After their shower they both went into character. Chase was Spider Man, and Landon was Super Man. They jumped off the couch, practiced flying kicks (Chase's latest karate move) and Landon rode Abby...poor Abby! Note to self: don't let the boys take late naps!!!
