Bass Pro Shop

So, who would've known Bass Pro Shop offers so many fun kid's activities during the holidays?...we didn't......a friend of ours invited us to tag along w/their family and it was so much FREE fun. Even the picture with Santa was free! The boy's made reindeer ornaments, wrote a letter to Santa, took a picture with him, and Chase did a little rock climbing.

Chase was too scared to take a picture by the bear
Couldn't get a decent smile out of them....goofy!
The 3 amigos....Landon loves Jacob!
Waiting patiently in line.......goofball!

Art

Man I'm on a roll tonight.......a little afternoon activity after school. Fun with paints and sponges. My little artists.....

Brotherly Love

A VERY RARE moment in the McNaughton house......hugs and love for each other.

Mr. Roboto

This week is letter I/invention at Chase's school. For the past 2 weeks, the school has been collecting recyclables so the kids could "invent" something. This is what Chase came home with....Robot Peter...pretty cute!

Bargain of the Day

Today, Landon and I were walking through Wal-Mart when we stumbled upon the Halloween clearance isle. He insisted he needed some ninja swords and a costume to match. I thought, "how much could this really be, it's halloween clearance," so I went ahead and bought him and Chase a sword set and ninja costume. When I got to the cash register and found out how much they were I couldn't get the smile off my face :) .....I mean really, $.80 for each sword set and $1.40 for the ninja costumes....SCORE!!!!! Landon wouldn't pose for me in his costume so here is my ninja Chase.

Trick of Treat :)

Halloween festivities began last weekend with Trunk or Treat at the Rec Center, then another Trunk or Treat at our church. The boys made out with so much candy (all the good stuff) after that we didn't even need to go trick or treating. But who doesn't go trick or treating on Halloween? So off we went tonight. We headed over to a friend's house, ate dinner and then went out for about 1 hour. The kids ran the whole time, from house to house......needless to say they were very tired tonight. We now have 3 huge bowls of candy at our house.....I don't know what will happen first the boy's teeth will rot out of their mouth or mom is going to gain 10 lbs.

Introducing the Power Rangers!!!!!

Landon was in fascinated w/Darth
After Trunk or Treat we came home and dad built a snowman with the boys. They loved it! They kept running in the house needing carrots, then grapes. They were very proud of their snowman.
We couldn't get Landon to stop eating the carrots long enough to take a picture.
